I was very much fascinated to science since my childhood and still now, which actually played a vital role to be an engineer as an engineer knows better how to relate theoretical mathematics with …show more content…
My undergraduate thesis topic was “Analysis the transport properties of graphene using Ensemble Monte Carlo Simulation” in which I studied electrical conductivity, effect of temperature on graphene by varying temperature, effect of electric field on drift velocity, effect of scattering on mobility, observed its some mechanical properties like stress enduring capability etc. in a form of carbon nanotube and carbon nanotube is actually cylindrical form of graphene sheet. The most amazing fact about graphene is it a semi-metal because of having overlap of two bands, although it is different from other semi-metals like- arsenic, antimony, and bismuth . I have achieved A+ grade in my thesis and not only in the thesis but also I got good grade in all semiconductor related subjects in my undergraduate level. I have decent command on MathLab programming language. Nowadays research programs related to graphene has been a sign of advancement for any institution whether it is educational or …show more content…
Research work is an arduous task requiring a lot of perseverance and not to be frustrated after getting so many failures and I’m ready to take this challenge. I am properly aware of my perseverance, merit, ability to hard work which is profoundly needed for research work. When I sat for GRE for the first time, I didn’t able to score well despite putting a lot of efforts of me. I was so disappointed with myself. With my regular job, it was difficult for me to concentrate on GRE preparation again as IT related job requires that you be prepared for any kind of faults which may occur at data center or any part of the network. Sometimes I had to stay whole night at office to bring system online. Because of perseverance, determination, hard work, , I have been able to surpass the GRE hurdle with a good score. I think that experience was immensely beneficial for me by having a lesson about patience when anything is not working according to your plan. Moreover during my academic life so far, I have learnt how to be patient, how to be fully focused on the matter that hold most importance and it is the only way to be an engineer in this part of the world as resources are very limited in comparison to receivers
