Introduction
The Hunger Games is brilliantly plotted and perfectly paced by American writer Suzanne Collins, then it was adapted into a film by Gary Ross in March 23, 2012. In this movie, the director presents us with the amazingly suspenseful story through the using of high technology and the actors’ excellent performances. Furthermore, the whole film reveals the author’s intention that blending the Greek Mythology and the Christian Religion about the Jesus with its themes. Once you have appreciate this work, then there is no need for me to say that each character is rich in depth and worthy of his or her own story. That is to say, all the main characters in it have complex and fascinating personalities, just like the person with blood and flesh in our real life. What are the themes of this movie? And what is the Christian religion, the Roman Empire and the Greek Mythology’s significant influence on them? This essay will review the film, solve this two questions and enlighten them by analyzing the two protagonists further.

The more you know Peeta’s personalities, the deeper these feelings will be. From the beginning of the story, Peeta gave Katniss a loaf of bread in secret, which keep her family and her away from starvation, regardless the danger of being found by his cruel and cold-blooded mother. In fact, not only does he give food to Katniss, but he also rekindles her passion for life.
