During the play, the actors’ movements around the stage were a little chaotic. For example, the scene that took place when Tartuffe was chasing around the stage trying to have sex with her and Orgon was hiding under the table. With that the director did a good job with the pace of the dialogue to keep everything in order and clear for the audience, there for I was never lost while the movement on stage captured my attention. In my opinion, the director’s choice to have good pace dialogue and chaotic movement was a good choice so as the play progressed the chaos was an attempt to grab the audience attention but never get lost. …show more content…
The actor that accurately represented Orgon as a middle-aged man was BLANK. I assumed that the director was trying to say that Orgon was having some sort of mid-life crisis. This provided an excuse for his foolish beliefs about Tartuffe, and supported the theme that only foolish people are unable to recognize a hypocrite. For example, Orgon in the play was so oblivious to what was going on he signed everything of his over to Tartuffe, his house, his land, etc. this showed how big of a fool and oblivious he was to
