War. It is a gruesome yet necessary act that we have come by time and time again when threatened by opposing forces. The people of our nation will cheer and riot, glorify and scrutinize the action but, what do they truly know? Our United States Military is a formidable force for all that go against it but, the question is, how did this come to be? What example did they have to follow, what great leaders did they have to look up to? An everyday member of our society would immediately think back to national victories such as World War I and II or our own civil war which included outstanding generals including, Ulysses S. Egyptians, as a whole had the advantage of being ethnically and culturally unified amongst themselves as well as against their enemies under the rule of their pharaoh who was considered to be a god on Earth. During the New Kingdom the Pharaohs often led the army into battle and Egypt conquered much of the surrounding land, expanding the Egyptian Empire.
