Pharaoh
Ancient Egyptians Thought their pharaoh was a god so if any one killed a pharaoh they were the new pharaoh. Pharaohs were the highest on social ladder.
Vizier
The vizier was the head of the court officials. They were given a lot of land and grew wealthy. Viziers were the second highest on the social ladder.
Nobles and Priests
Nobles keep their religion going and make laws. Priests kept the gods happy though they did not preach. Nobles and Priests were third highest on the social ladder.
Scribes and Soldiers
Scribes were they only people who could read and write. They were also responsible for keeping records. Soldiers were mostly second sons some from the pharaoh and defended their country. They were rewarded with land

Craftsmen
Craftsmen were skilled workers and had jobs of pottery makers, leatherworkers, sculptors, painters, weavers, jewelry makers, shoe makers, and tailors. Craftsmen were the second to last.
Farmers and Slaves
Farmers Worked for Pharaohs and Nobles and earned houses, clothes, and food for their farming. Slaves were mostly prisoners captured in war. Slaves could be found in the households of the Pharaoh and nobles, working in mines and quarries and also in temples.
