Ancient Greek Culture Influence

The culture that influenced my project is the Greek culture. Ancient Greece was a Greek civilization and it belonged to an era of Greek history that persevered through the archaic period to the term of classical antiquity. After this period began it was followed by the early middle ages and the Byzantine era. Contained in ancient Greece, better known as the classical Greece period. This period blossomed during the fifth to fourth centuries BC. Classical Greek culture, mainly philosophy, had a dynamic impact on the Roman Empire. This empire transported an interpretation of it to different parts of Europe and the Mediterranean Basin. With that being said this is the reason why classical Greece is typically thought to be the influential culture, which supplied the basis of modern western culture. The social structure in Greece was divided into mainly two different groups. You had the free people and you had the slaves. Basically only the free native-born men that owned land could be citizens. These citizens held the right to the safeguard of the law in a city-state. In a later date one of the most significant Greek statesman, Pericles, brought in the omission to the native born restrictions.
Greek art started a new epidemic and created western classical art in the successive archaic, classical, and geometric periods. During this time frame influences was adopted from eastern civilizations and the newfound religion of Orthodox Christianity. European and Italian concepts were also consumed during the era of Romanticism. This was continued until the Postmodernist and Modernist period. Greek art has many different forms. There are five main forms. These forms are sculptures, paintings, pottery, architecture, and jury making. The main focus the culture influenced in is the areas of architecture and
