I think that the narrative My Grandfather’s Shoes told by Christian Garland is an inspiring, bittersweet and entertaining story that has a great plot. The story was bittersweet because it is sweet that Christian earned his grandfather’s trust back and the money that he paid the grandfather with was put to a very good use. The bitter part of the story is that the grandfather died and Christian was very close with him so that must have been a really hard and sad time. This story was at the same time inspiring because, Christian started off being careless and spent money that was not his and someone else worked hard to earn. Then when he realized that using that money meant losing his grandfather's trust he would do anything to earn that back.…
