Android vs. Apple
Android versus iOS

With the growing usage of touch-screen mobile phones and gadgets, there are two big names of mobile operating system (OS) which stand out, Android of Google and iOs of Apple. Both offer closely similar features and give almost the same level of satisfaction to their users. However at the end of the day, only one should remain standing in this high-technological world. And that depends on which is your bet?

Upon discerning of which I would choose, only one thing that comes in my mind, that is, an operating system which has total virus protection. It is a common knowledge to everybody that virus is one of the pests and file crashers of every operating system even in the Microsoft Operating System. It could fatally damage all your saved documents and even the OS. Eventually, there is high risk of losing everything you have in your devices and not limited to confidential files. Recovering them is still questionable.

Going back to Android and iOS, though iOS has very strict in sharing files and even downloading files as compared to Android, it is deemed to have no reports of virus attack since its first release. Indeed, its tight security when downloading and sharing of applications or files make it invulnerable to viruses and gives an edge against Android. In contrast, Androids are designed for more business-centered communication, whereas Apple promotes a more media-centered communication. An example of this is that one of the main features of the iPhone series is their music and gaming capabilities; Androids do also have these features, however, do not highlight them as much. The Android Company was first created in 2003, but was relatively an unknown company until Google bought the company in August of 2005. It is thought that Google was, at the time, planning to enter into the realm of the ‘hand held mobile device’ wars…

There are also big differences in prices and function. Apple is a very reliable computer with a good life span and built in anti-virus protection, but they are also very expensive with little options. Whereas Microsoft is a less reliable computer and doesn’t come with anti-virus which makes it more vulnerable, but has more options for less cost, Microsoft is also sold by different brands such as Dell, HP, and Lenovo which allows for a much larger selection and personalization.…

I believe most would agree that although the iPhone was not the first smartphone on the market, in 2007 it definitely impacted the technology and even the business world. Wrapping together every function and feature possible into one package, the iPhone set individuals on a craze to get their hands on the next best thing. I can still recall people doing whatever humanly possible, whether it be winning a contest through the radio or internet, just to say they owned the first iPhone. After that, it was almost as though you were in the VIP section of the technology universe. Today, people immediately assume you own the Apple product, and are somewhat looked down upon like some peasant using anything otherwise. Less than a year later, the “smartphone wars” began as Google introduced the Android; the open source smartphone platform linked with the world’s largest search engine website. As an Android advocate, the debate still arises drawing disputes among fellow friends and colleagues as I teeter-totter between the pros and cons of both devices.…

Yes I do have a smartphone. Usually I like all the brands when it comes to phones but my personal opinion is with apple. I am a very frequent user of all the apple products and I have most of them. The reason why I like all the apple products is they provide many facilities which brands doesn’t have like better display quality effective sound etc. all this things attracts me towards apple. And when someone ask me about my choice I must say apple is the best because this is the only brand which replaces the phone when the customer find some problem in the phone. Other brands just repair their phones but only apple replace the phone and gives a brand new phone right way.…

Over the last decade, electronic-based companies such as Samsung and Apple have collaborated with cellular-phone carriers, and have studied the average consumer to find endless ways to improve the cellular phone. As a result, the smart phone was born. With their ability to provide users with instant access to communication, entertainment, Internet access, calendar, news, social media, and much more, the smart phone revolutionized and shifted the path of modern technology. In 2006, Apple began this revolution with their release of the iPhone. Being the first proper smart phone, many other companies attempted to mimic the unbeatable features and technology that Apple had included with the iPhone. Though many had failed in doing so, Google managed to keep up with the iPhone with their Android software. Soon enough, Google’s Android software became the dominant smart phone based software for smart phones not manufactured by Apple. Because of this, Android phones had become just as popular as iPhones. This paper will explore the similarities and differences between both Apple’s iPhone and Google’s Android.…
