The story surrounding Andromeda is a Greek myth. She was a young, beautiful princess that was to be sacrificed to a sea monster to repent for her father's crimes. She was chained to a rock by the ocean in an attempt to attract the sea monster. The young hero Perseus was returning from his quest to kill the beast Medusa when he saw her about to be killed, and swooped in to kill the sea monster. He rescued Andromeda
and she became his wife.
A new myth to replace the old story: On a mountain top, far far away, there lived a family. The mother had begged the Gods to bless her with a child for years. Her and Her husband were lonely, alone in the mountain top, and they wanted children to make their days brighter. The Gods took pity on her and granted her a child. But, when the baby boy was born, the mother and father forgot to thank the Gods for the gift. The Gods waited until the child was big and strong, and they took their revenge on the ungrateful couple. They got inside the head of the boy and forced him to jump off the mountain top. The Gods, seeing the mother and father's anguish, granted them one final kindness. Before the boy hit the ground, they reached down and caught him, then threw him up into the stars, forming Andromeda
