Animal Captivity
Animals behind cages, starving and dying, it's an awful sight. I believe that animal captivity is bad for animals and that they should be running free and wild. wild animals in zoos suffer physically and mentally. Many animals in zoos show signs of distress such as pacing or rocking backwards and forwards repeatedly. Zoos do not save species from extinction but in some cases they can even make it worse.
The problem with animal captivity is its hurting animals mentally and physically Captive exotic animals are abused and exploited in a variety of settings including research, product testing, the entertainment industry and fur farms. Keeping wild animals in captivity is inherently cruel, as it deprives them of the ability to freely enjoy their natural behaviors in their natural environment. Every year captive exotic animals are involved in incidents where humans are injured or killed.
These types of incidents are happening in circuses, zoos, testing centers there are many places this is happening. First i'm going to talk about circuses. Animals have been used in circuses for generations and while the sight of a lion jumping through fire, an elephant standing on its hind legs, or a monkey riding a bicycle may seem entertaining to some people. The Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora cites is an international treaty adopted by the US in 1975 that regulates wildlife trade for all joined nations. Endangered Species Act esa protects fish, mammals, birds, and plants listed as threatened or endangered in the US and beyond. Most of these laws aren't really doing anything to stop/help animal captivity. there needs to be a law set in place to prevent animal
