Animal Farm: Influencing Power, Position, And Perspective
The historical setting of the story Animal Farm plays a significant impact in affecting and influencing power, position, and perspective. The setting takes place during an undisclosed time on a farm in England. The farm is originally named Manor Farm and is owned by Mr. and Mrs.Jones. Towards the end of the story the setting changes from an oppressed society into a Communist police state. Due to the setting the power that the characters hold, and their position on the farm alters into becoming unfair and unjust. For example, because the animals are on a farm without a caretaker their power and positions in working on the farm differ. Napoleon takes full power over all the animals on the farm, while these animals are stuck in a working position
