Animal Farm Old Major's Speech Essay

Old Major’s speech was an important event in this chapter. He had set the commandments. Telling all the animals he wouldn’t be alive much longer, but to follow whoever the new animal leader was. And telling the animals that anything that had walked on two legs was evil, saying man was evil, no good. He said anything with four legs or wings is a comrade, all animals are to be treated equally. They had also sung the song “Beast of England” a song saying how life would be without man.
All of the animals have rebelled against jones. And decided to attack and chase him off the farm. Jones had not fed them and the animals had gotten extremely angry. The pigs come up with commandments. They think there should be rules enforced now that they have
chased jones off. These commandments are written on the side of the barn and the official name of the farm becomes Animal Farm.
The pigs start to reserve all the milk and apples for themselves.
Then they tell all the other animals it was for the better so they can be well nourished and smart for the farm.
Battle of the cowshed, the battle where Mr.Jones comes back to claim his farm. Although he lost.
Snowball suggested the windmill idea, could be beneficial on how they get electricity, warmth, and storage space for their harvest. unspoken.
