Animal Experimentation is the process of using animals to test the safety of products such as cosmetics and medications to understand the workings of the human body. Some people feel that if we didn’t use animals, we would have to test new drugs on people. The fact is that we already do test new drugs on people. No matter how many animals are tested on, someone will always be the first human to try out the medication or experiment.

Mutagenicity is something that is often times practiced on an animal. It is when a chemical agent is injected resulting in the animal’s genetic look leading to more frequent mutations. Many of these mutations will cause cancer in the animals.” (“Animal
