Animal Testing Body

Animal testing goes all the way back to the ancient times of the Greeks and Romans. Doctors would dissect animals in hopes of obtaining new knowledge. These animals lived a life of daily confinement. The only change in their lives came from being called into a research experiment that would eventually end in death. During the research and testing these animals would be subjected to experiments, including everything from injecting with new diseases, poisoning the animals, burning their skin along with many other harmful tests. Many animal experiments require some form of restraint device in order to ensure the animal does not move and the tests are accurate. Therefore, the animal feeling everything and having the inability to get away.
Animal Experimentation is the process of using animals to test the safety of products such as cosmetics and medications to understand the workings of the human body. All procedures, even the “mild” ones, have the potential to cause physical and psychological distress. Most animals are killed after the experiment, while some are used for further procedures. Though
Some people feel that if we didn’t use animals, we would have to test new drugs on people. The fact is that we already do test new drugs on people. No matter how many animals are tested on, someone will always be the first human to try out the medication or experiment.
