What is Animatronics?
 Animatronics is the use of electronics and robotics in the creation of puppets which simulate life.

 It is a multi-disciplinary field which integrates anatomy, robots, mechatronics and puppetry resulting in the lifelike animation of any living or lifeless object.

How it began….
 Animatronics made cinematic history long before digital effects were around.

 It was first introduced in movies by Walt Disney in 1963
 Today it is used in films parallel with VFX, museums, advertisements and many more.

Driving Mechanism
 The characters may be driven either mechanically or by human force

 The mechanically driven character is remotely controlled by RF (radio signals)
