What is Animatronics?
Animatronics is the use of electronics and robotics in the creation of puppets which simulate life.
It is a multi-disciplinary field which integrates anatomy, robots, mechatronics and puppetry resulting in the lifelike animation of any living or lifeless object.
How it began….
Animatronics made cinematic history long before digital effects were around.
It was first introduced in movies by Walt Disney in 1963
Today it is used in films parallel with VFX, museums, advertisements and many more.
