To begin with, Annabeth is a natural born leader, and has been leading a large group of people since she was very young. She lead the Heroes of Olympus through their mission to defeat Gaea, and has been head counselor of the Athena cabin since she was …show more content…
only 12 years old. This gives her great authority and honour among the other people at camp, and to the people at the table, most of whom have not always had this type of authority at the places that they come from, or have had to work very hard for it, whereas Annabeth just has natural leadership and authority to her. This makes her a very honorable and admirable person, who everyone would look up and would easily see as a person to be honouring. Not only this, but also Annabeth is extremely comfortable being a leader, since she does have that natural quality to her, and she would easily take over as the leader of the table, or be seen as the leader, even if she wasn’t the guest of honour, so making her the guest of honour was really just the easiest thing to do in the end and the most natural. As shown above, Annabeth is a natural born leader, with a certain air about her that just screams “leader”, which would make her a very natural guest of honour for this dinner party and very easy person to admire for this quality.
In addition, Annabeth is an extremely intelligent character, since her mother is Athena, goddess of wisdom. She is very logical, and always faces situations using her mind and brain power to solve them, for example, when she was faced head to head with Arachne, but instead of fighting, she used her brain into tricking Arachne to trap herself. This is a great quality for her to have as the guest of honour, since this quality can be used to contribute to discussions, and start some very interesting conversations among the guests. Also, multiple people admire Annabeth's intelligence because it has so many useful applications and she doesn’t need to rely on her brawn or her “special” powers like others do, she only needs to use her brain. Annabeth often uses her intelligence to go on multiple adventures and solve problems and complete quests successfully. She would contribute some amazing tales to the dinner party and prove to the other guests that being intelligent can get people so far in life and solve so many problems. She could contribute her opinions and her intelligence to the other guests problems using this quality and really help the other guests out. As proven, Annabeth has great intelligence that is admired by many people, and should be honoured at this event.
Finally, Annabeth is the most heroic person out of all of the guests.
Unlike most of the other guests, she has been on multiple different adventures and has saved the world not once, but twice, making her accomplishments seem much greater. She has fought many mythological monsters and beasts much greater in power than her, whereas most of the other guests have only ever fought other humans. Annabeth has faced multiple different challenges, for example being trapped by Atlas, Arache and in Tartarus, and some very dangerous situations, but has come out of all of them a hero and has survived through them all, sometimes almost entirely by herself. This makes her extremely heroic and brave since not many other people can face the monsters that she has and still come out alive and (mostly) sane. Annabeth has also faced these monsters since she was still a young kid, whereas most of the other characters haven’t faced any real enemies or challenges until they were almost adults. This means that Annabeth has been on heroic adventures long before the other guests. Being heroic is a quality that the other guests would most certainly admire, considering that they are all heroes themselves and an appreciate a true hero when they see one, like
Annabeth.
When most people think of a guest of honour, they think of the most important or likeable person at the event. But a guest of honour is really someone who should be admired by their qualities and achievements that have made them such honourable and admirable people. Overall, Annabeth Chase is the best choice to be the guest of honour at this dinner party because she is heroic, intelligent, and is a natural born leader. These qualities have made her one of the greatest heros of all time, not just among women, but among everyone.
