Elie Wiesel is one of the most eminent Holocaust survivors for his writing and his actions for bringing awareness and memorial for those who were not as fortunate as him during WWII. He was an extraordinary man with such a great personality, especially after all he had gone through as a child. He has written many novels about his experiences during the Holocaust, one of which called Night which tells of his experiences inside a Nazi death camp. His writing has been influential for all audiences by enlightening them on what it was truly like to be a Jew during the Holocaust. Like Elie Wiesel, Anne Frank plays a significant role in the Holocaust because of her dream of becoming a writer, her documentation of her everyday life, and the symbol she serves as for everyone that was persecuted.

Much like Elie Wiesel, she has created inspiration among many through her writing. Her journal entries have many similarities with his most famous book, Night, where he tells of his experiences living in the concentration camps Auschwitz and Buchenwald under Nazi rule. They both show the emotions of a child dealing with, and understanding what afflictions they were to experience in the new world they were living in.
