Anne Frank was an innocent victim of the Holocaust along with many other innocent victims that had no idea or clue what was happening to them Anne Franks full name was Anneliese Marie Frank she was born in Frankfurt, Germany, on June 12, 1929. Anne wrote in her diary when she was in hiding and she wrote about the events happening in the secret annex and about her feelings. "Anne wrote in her diary that she wants to become a writer or a journalist in the future, and that she wants to publish her diary as a novel" (Stitching The Story). Anne Frank hoped and wished she becomes a writer or journalist, so she wrote and recorded her feelings, the events that were happening and she wrote some poems and quotes from other writers. She was editing so she can publish it, but she got arrested. She died in a concentration camp, but her father survived and found her diary, he published the book and many people bought and read it. They have lived with anxiety of being discovered for more than two years and now it is happening. Otto Frank describes the moment." It was around ten-thirty. I was upstairs with the Van Pelses in Peter's room and I was helping him with his school work... Suddenly someone came running up the stairs... then the door opened and a man was standing right in front of us with a gun in his hand and it was pointed at us... Anne Frank's Death
"On August 1944, everyone in the secret annex is arrested. Someone may have betrayed them. They are deported first to the Westerbork transit camp, and then on to Auschwitz". Otto Frank is the only person from the secret annex to survive the camps. "… The others all die". (Stitching Anne Frank) Anne is arrested with all the others in the Auschwitz concentration camp, Anne ends up in the same birack's as her mother and sister. After that Anne and Margot are taken to Bergen-Belson. Anne died there in February 1945 at the age of 15 due to a disease called typhus.
