Years later, her father; Otto Frank being the only remaining Frank discovered Anne’s diary and the depth of her thoughts, ambitions, dreams, and intelligence which even he was shocked to discover. Anne Frank to help teach about the Holocaust next year. In my opinion, “Anne Frank: Diary of a Young Girl” is very impressive and unique book because “Anne Frank: Diary of a Young Girl” is a real diary of a teenager girl. The diary begins after Anne's 13th birthday and she and her family are forced to hiding in the secret annex.…
Anne Frank is someone who influenced history long after she was gone, because of her courage, bravery, and willpower that got here and her family through the tough times up until they were seized. Though Anne died at age fifteen in one of the camps, we still see her today as such an accepting human being throughout her life. In one of her very last entries Anne stated, “In spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart.” This entry proves her beliefs beyond measure that all humans are good people and mean for the best in their own lives. This statement alone expresses everything people need to know about Anne and who she was as a person this shows a maturity level way beyond her years as a young girl of only thirteen…
The Diary of Anne Frank shows many stereotypes, such as Jews, adults, parents, and teenagers. Stereotypes are a standardized mental picture or belief held in common by members of a group. The Diary of Anne Frank identifies that the stereotype of a teenafer is moody, argumentative, and self-absorbed. The three teenagers, Anne, Margot, and Peter commonly show these traits in the play, The Diary of Anne Frank.…
The time during the Holocaust brought the Frank family much difficulties. They had to be fearful about everything. They were always scared of being caught by the Gestapo. They had to be careful about what they were doing and how loud they were talking. They were always scared of what would happen if someone knew where they were living. While they were living in the Annex they couldn’t do much as I had mentioned. They didn’t have normal dinners or normal clothes like other normal families had. In the secret annex there was a tight schedule. The Annex was located in an empty section of the builing that Mr. Frank worked in.…
Anne Frank, quite a famous name with a lot of emotion behind it. She was alive during one of the worst genocides in our history. Yet why is SHE considered a hero? Why not the soldiers who fought against the Nazis, or those who risked their lives for people who were being killed. Anne may have written words of hope and optimistic thoughts, but no one was saved just on those words.…
The Holocaust was an event that changed history in the eyes of many. It started as a minor German government problem. It then grew into a worldwide scale problem and ended up with over 10 million dead. It had many emotional and physical scars implanted in thousands of others. Gruesome things happened. So, therefore, Anne Frank would not still have said that all people are good deep down.…
When people think of the Holocaust, they think of one person Adolf Hitler, but there are other people who were involved in this era that had their lives changed forever. Elie Wiesel is one of the most eminent Holocaust survivors for his writing and his actions for bringing awareness and memorial for those who were not as fortunate as him during WWII. He was an extraordinary man with such a great personality, especially after all he had gone through as a child. He has written many novels about his experiences during the Holocaust, one of which called Night which tells of his experiences inside a Nazi death camp. His writing has been influential for all audiences by enlightening them on what it was truly like to be a Jew during the Holocaust. Like Elie Wiesel, Anne Frank plays a significant role in the Holocaust because of her dream of becoming a writer, her documentation of her everyday life, and the symbol she serves as for everyone that was persecuted.…
