“People are good at heart” said Anne Frank during the holocaust. Anne Frank was right, people are good at heart. The holocaust was a genocide that started on january 30th 1933 in which millions of people were killed by adolf hitler’s Nazi Germany. The many that were killed were Jews and others with mental and physical disabilities.Anne Frank, along with her family,were Jews that had went into hiding in july of 1942. While in hiding they were with Mr. and Mrs. Van Pels and their son Peter Van Pels. A few people are Miep, Mr. Frank, and the people who helped other Jews. When the people in the annex got caught, Anne had to leave her diary papers because an officer pushed all of Anne’s papers and they scattered all across the floor. When the officers weren't looking, Miep ran upstairs, grabbed the papers, and put them in her drawer for when the Franks got out of the camps. Unfortunately, Mr. Frank was the only Frank to survive. Mr. Frank received the diary from Miep. Mr Frank kept the diary and took it to be published. These people that helped the Jews were good at heart because if caught helping jews they could have been taken to be punished with the Jews.
