“Anne Frank was born on June 12, 1929, in Frankfurt, Germany”(“Born”). Her parents were named Otto and Edith Frank. Anne Frank had one older sibling named Margot.“Anne Frank and her sister died in a concentration camp from a disease called typhus”(“Born”). Anne Frank and her family’s religion were Jewish. She enjoyed writing as a young girl. Anne was given a diary for her 13 birthday (The Holocaust 2: 144). She continued her writing in a form of a diary during her imprisonment in a concentration camp and her period of hiding.

Surrounded by evil and death she still did something she loved, writing. The Nazis took away possessions, separated families, but could not take away her love. The people in our present world can learn from the Holocaust by seeing and understanding its parallel similarities to Islamic aggression against Christians. It occurs around the world but especially in the Middle East. Thousands of Christians die each year in the name of radical Islamic morals much like the Nazis.
