This is a very well written article that discusses what an identity theft as well as Identity fraud is. The source can be trusted because it is a federal website. The article discusses some common ways to commit and identity theft as well as what the department of justice is doing about it. The article also talks about what a citizen can do to prevent themselves from getting victimized.

Retrieved August 28, 2011 from: http://sf-police.org/index.aspx?page=1601 This article covers the penal codes related to identity theft, identity theft prevention tips as well as the identity theft victim’s tips. The site also provides important contact information for the victims. There is social security contact information listed as well as all of the credit bureaus. I liked that fact that they have contact information listed so that citizens can remove themselves from the unwanted mailing list.

The entire website is based on identity theft prevention. It also talks about current scams that are out there as well as update its customers on scam alerts. The site talks about prevention tips as well as what steps to take if someone is a victim of identity theft. This organization works with the law enforcement very closely in order to report the crimes to their customers.

I will also have to make the in-text citations. The resource information is already in the annotated bibliography so it makes it fairly simple to convert them to APA-formatted reference page.
