Students can tackle fractions, decimals, and percentages with many pages of interactive games. Gamequarium offers teachers a separate forum to communicate with other teachers about lesson plans and problems your encountering in class. This can help new teachers settle some of their concerns. This site can be used in the classroom to reward students who finish early and need something to keep them occupied. This can also be used in the classroom to help students who are struggling with math concepts. Students can choose a game that is interesting to them, related to the lesson. This will help the student strengthen their math skills and give them more confidence in their abilities.

The site allows teachers, parents, and students to print off worksheets for practice. Math Play has math games that allow multiple students to compete against each other. This can be used in the classroom to have a “game day”, where students pair off in groups and compete against each other until only 1 group is left. This motivates students to learn the material and ask for help before “game day”. This also allows the teacher to assess student’s abilities on the material. Pro Teacher. (2011). Pro Teacher also offers lesson plans for LEP students. The site guides teachers on how to assess students at the end of each lesson created. Assessment is an important piece in teaching; it must be used in the classroom. Pro Teacher gives ideas about setting up math centers in the classroom. Knowing how to use math centers properly is essential to them being successful. Math centers can be used in the class to engage students in hands-on group activities. Working with other peers can help students grasp ideas better. Teacher to teacher feedback from the site is useful to all teachers who need new ideas in how to present fractions and decimals to students.
