Ansari's Ironic Analysis
Ansari investigates the sensitive subject of romance and presents his findings with a very light and humorous tone. He incorporates numerous personal comments and anecdotes associated with the topics, which reminds the reader that even him, being a famous celebrity, goes through the same struggles as everyone else, making the book especially more relatable. Examples of this tone are evident throughout the entirety of the text, for instance, he says, “Nowadays the Internet is my chubby friend. It is the whole world’s chubby friend.” (page 126).
