According to the research, Costco has weak matrix organizational structure. They are extending to various countries so the company should be based on the branch’s current operations and locations. They are strongly connected with each other to figure out what they need. This structure is effectively matched with Costco’s strategy. They did not set every chief manager by regional groups. Because of flat management hierarchy, the advantage is that they could be flexible. If they change some rules or business plan, they don't have to announce whole employees in every area. They just let their chief managers to know the changes and they will send to their workers. Also, the geographic divisions are a characteristic of Costco’s organizational structure
