Secondly, I found some very didactic words in the book. For example, I found the word serfdom which means the state of being a feudal laborer. Another word I found was ecstasy, an overwhelming feeling of happiness. Speaking about vocabulary words, these words that I found can be used in our daily lives. The concepts of collectivism are very idiotic in my opinion and I am glad the world we live in doesn’t resemble collectivism the way the book inhabits. With this in mind, in the book it states, “We are nothing. Mankind is all. By the grace of our brothers are we allowed our lives. We exist through, by and for our brothers who are the state.
