Keyich is a city in Casdonia, located in Eastern Europe. Over the past six years, the city’s population has grown rapidly from 265,000 in 1995 to 650,000 in 2001, resulting in a 145% increase. The continious fast-paced growth estimates that by 2008 the city’s population is expeted to reach 1,600,000. The Keywich City Council has concerns with the excelling growth pattern and possible negative consequences associated with the growth such as cultural, economic, environmental, and social impacts. The rapid increased population could include deteriarting infrastructure, increasing traffic congetion, declining air quality, and loss of space. The city has regularly been awarded the most environment-friendly city in the county; therefore, the growing population could reduce their chances at retaining the title. Cleanup preparation begins with understanding the essential issues that need to be focused on first. It is equally important for council to include the residents in the decision making process.
