Radical Christian soldiers set off to take the holy land from the Muslims. Throughout their journey to the holy land they slaughtered thousands of Jews leaving the religion hanging by a thread. Antisemitism showed its face slightly later in history. During the middle ages Christians persecuted Jews as they were seen as doers of evil sent by the devil. Then in 1348 when the black plague hit the first assumption made was that it was created, and sent by the Jews. This theory continued to evolve as more and more stereotypes began to build on itself eventually lead to a rumor that Jews would use the blood of sacrificed Christian children as an ingredient in their potions to create disease, which they would release onto the innocent Christian people. Several hundred years later in the middle of the 18th century a new party was founded in Germany. This was a far right (Nationalist) party that called themselves the Nazi Party. They believed that in order for Germany to rise up to its prior state of glory, that they had to create a perfect race. They believed that the Jews were responsible for the failure of WWI hence they were not part of the perfect
