Aphorisms
We all have those people who are our “friends” and only one thing. They aren’t around when you need them, yet their around when they need you. Whenever you have something they are around, but when you are left with nothing they aren’t there. Have you ever heard the saying “a friend in need is a friend indeed?” Well that seems to be very true as you grow up and start realizing who your real friends are. Your real friends will be there in times of need when you are they one that is in need of help. The other so called “friends” won’t be around in those predicaments. “A friend in need is a friend indeed” is a self-explanatory meaning but people fail to see the message. I was young and very naïve once and I didn’t notice when people were using me for what I had. I use to think everyone was my friends because I wasn’t use to the manipulative people being around me. My mother would say to me “choose your friends very wisely.” In high school I started to notice the actions of people more. The one who were supposed to be friends really turned out to be people who were just looking for a come up. Pay very close attention to who you hang out with and be aware of your surroundings. Even though it is sad, there are people who will just use you for their own accomplishments. Not saying that you should feel as if everyone is looking to use you. I’m saying just don’t be surprised when it happens. Just remember “a friend in need is a friend indeed.”
