Applicatios of geometry
Geometry was throughly organized in about 300 B.C, when the Greek mathematician, Euclid gathered what was known at the time; added original book of his ownand arranged 465 propositions into 13 books called Elements.

Geometry is the mathematics of space and shape, which is the basis of all things that exist. Understanding geometry is necessary step by understanding how the things in our world exist. The applications of geometry in real life are not always evident to teenagers, but the reality is geometry infiltratesevery facet of our daily living.

Geometry was recognized to be not just for mathematicians. Anyone can benefit from the basic learning of geometry, which is to follow the lines reasoning. Geometry is one of the oldest sciences and is corcerned with questions of shape, size and relative position of figures and with properties of space.

Geometry is considered an important field pf study because of its applications in daily life.

Geometry is mainly divided in to two which is plane geometry and solid geometry. Plane geometry is about all kinds of two dimensional shapes such as lines, circles, and triangles. While Solid geometry is about all kinds of three dimensional shapes like polygons, prisms, pyramids, sphere and cylinder.

Now, let’s move on its applications and role of it in our daily life.

Role of geometry in the daily life is the foundation of physical mathematics. For example, a plane, a car, a house, a building anything with physical things is geometrically found.

Geometry is mostly applied in archtechture. They used to apply geometry in houses, buildings, planes, etc. For instance, they used it to measure the angles, width, length, etc. to make it sure that it is steady and perfectly made well.

Geometry is also applied in computer graphics and computer design. Geometric shapes are used to build images. In robotics , geometryis used to plan how to move objects without collision.

The unit “Do Bees Build It Best?” helped me realize and confirm the previous. I studied geometry for the past two months- believe me; I know what I’m doing. To be able to make that statement, I studied the area and perimeter of all polygons, trigonometry, inverse trigonometry, and volume of surface area of three dimensional shapes. I did all of that just to find an answer. And bees really do build it best.…

Getting a good grade in geometry is very important, yet very hard to do if you cannot properly construct geometrical figures. Using a compass, a tool used to make arcs, and a straightedge; like a ruler, used to draw straight lines; helps students to properly construct figures. It is better to use a compass and straightedge to construct figures, than a drawing program online.…

As an attempt to obtain a better picture of the long history of invasions and conquests in West Asia, historians have referred to mythology and hymns, which clarified the relationship between nomads and settled peoples. The epic Gilgamesh, for example, reveals Enkidu and Gilgamesh initially engaging in vigorous battle but eventually becoming lifelong friends. This might have suggested that settled peoples (represented by Gilgamesh) and pastoral nomads (represented by Enkidu) came to possess a warm relationship with each other after the various instances of tension occurred between them. Hymns that involved religious beings additionally assisted in revealing potential connections as well as conflicts of the two groups. For example, the nomads,…

We also covered using visualization, spatial reasoning, and geometric modeling to solve problems. Week two we also did an individual assignment to help us understand geometry. Week three we covered the application of geometry using chapters 10 and 11. We analyze geometric definitions and relationships including congruency, triangle properties and triangle inequalities. Circles and arcs are another concept studied as well as proportions between parallel lines and congruent segments. This helped me to study similarity and proportions between polygons and triangle. At the end of week three I was able to specify locations using coordinate geometry, describe spatial relationships using coordinate geometry and use symmetry to analyze mathematical situations. In week four we covered Identify the relevant attributes of objects when solving problems as well as applying appropriate techniques, tools, and formulas to determine measurements. In week five we synthesize the mathematics concepts addressed in this course. As a team we worked on a power point dealing with a three dimensional shape and we discussed the surface, faces, sides, volume as well as…

In the aftermath of the previous year’s I realized that if I put my mind and effort in something I can do it. Math was a subject that I thought was going to always bring me down. But since my love for sports is greater I knew I had work I had to do, and now I actually love math. When given the chance I watch math video on YouTube. I have a favorite YouTuber names Vsause. His videos contain a mixture of science, math, and physiology. One particular video that is my favorite is when he is describing how humans have sent out many messages out in space that gives out a descriptions of who and what we are and things that are popular in our society at the time; as well as the coordinates to our location. It’s so interesting how math has a major part in life and in everything we do. When in geometry class I thought to myself “How is this going to help me in the future?” But later on, when reading the history of math, geometry is actually useful. We use if for many things like architectural designing, and in computer…

Trigonometry is used everywhere in our lives, since the beginning of development in our civilisations, people have been researching about the three lengths that have mystified for centuries. Trigonometry can almost be seen everywhere. First of all though we need to know its international definition, trigonometry is a study of triangles and its sides and angles, the hypotenuse, the adjacent side and the opposite side. Trigonometry also has its different functions (cos, sin and tan) which have an essential relationship with the whole theme, they used in their specific situations when trying to uncover an unknown value. Mathematically it is mainly used for calculus (which is perhaps its greatest application), linear algebra, and statistics. The name its self comes from Greek descent, trigonometry itself means triangle and measure in Greek. They weren 't the actual discoverers of trig but they implied vast development and improvement in that subject for many years with the help of mathematicians and philosophers like Pythagoras, whom we know very well. The Greek used their findings with much of their architecture and geography but mainly for their interest in the sky, astronomy. Everything that may lie for away across the universe is part of astronomy, the studies of the universe, it heavily needs the help of trig for several reasons…

Geometry is used while shopping at the store. You use it to pick out an item that is not dented. Geometry is used to tell whether a fruit or vegetable is rotten, or out of shape. Knowing geometry, you can pick out the most plump and nutritious items to eat. When you choose a can of beans or soup, you use geometry to check whether the can is dented or not. Finally, when you check out, you look at the patterns and shapes on your money that you have to pay for the goods that you are buying. You need to make sure that you are using the right change in machines at the grocery store.…

The introduction of coordinates by René Descartes and the concurrent development of algebra marked a new stage for geometry, since geometric figures, such as plane curves, could now be represented analytically, i.e., with functions and equations. This played a key role in the emergence ofinfinitesimal calculus in the 17th century. Furthermore, the theory of perspective showed that there is more to geometry than just the metric properties of figures: perspective is the origin of projective geometry. The subject of geometry was further enriched by the study of intrinsic structure of geometric objects that…
