Appraisal By Katie Hopkins Summary

I am writing to you to express my appraisal on the controversial article written by Katie Hopkins, one of your columnists. She stated rather radically I might say, that all migrants should be sprayed by gunships, and treated with force and brutality. This arrogant and violent claim frankly worries me. Her total ignorance of their situation and a complete lack of sympathy is alarming. Katie Hopkins’s atrocious attitude and extreme methods of execution, is a demonstration of her incompetence as a professional correspondent, therefore her place at the paper should be seriously reconsidered.
In the first and second paragraphs Ms. Hopkins stated her opinion in a rather disturbing manner. She said: “No, I don’t care. Show me pictures of coffins,
I still don’t care.” This reflects her genuine disrespect for this event, and laid grounds for the horrendous comments she will make later. Furthermore in the next paragraph Ms. Hopkins displayed her concern for this migrants taking jobs and getting in the way of the British citizens, stating her pity is only targeted towards the Brit truck drives who: ‘are fined every time one of this plague of feral humans ends up on their trucks’. On this matter, I think the Brits would just have to deal with these migrants. They may be annoying or incompetent at times, but what the people needs to and have to do, is to walk in their shoes and feel their pain. Imagine being among these humans, fleeing away from your hometown on a tiny craft, watching as your friends and families be slaughtered by warlords and guns. All these people want is to survive, and if we all have even a shred of humanity, this would be wish that should be granted for them. Furthermore it’s not like these people are just here to eat off the Brits.
