Summary
This group case study intends to provide a thorough and complete analysis of the inner workings of a team and its team dynamics by means of the organizational behaviour perspective. The case of the Arctic Mining Consultants examines a group of co-workers who work independently towards a goal. Their individual accomplishments are essential to the completion of the task at large. The group must work with a collective sense of purpose however they have encountered difficulties which will be assessed according to organizational behaviour concepts and theories. Emphasis will be placed on group dynamics and management style. To supplement the investigation, personality styles, emotions, attitudes & stress and employee motivation will be examined. This paper will provide implications of the issues addressed and conclude with solutions and recommendations and offer an implementation plan.
