Sentence Outline
Thesis: Cellular phones are the world’s most popular mobile device used by Americans today, but cell phones are said to be the leading cause of traffic accidents, they are used for cyber bullying, give off electromagnetic radiation that is harmful to our bodies and more; therefore we ask ourselves are cell phones really dangerous?
I. Texting and Driving A. Cell phones are the leading cause of traffic accidents. B. 2013 more than 30 states have banned it. C. Texting and driving is dangerous mainly because it keeps taking the driver’s eyes off the street and obstacles ahead of them.
II. Cyber bullying A. The next reason that cell phones are dangerous is because they are used for cyber bullying. B. Cyber bullies might send a text or even a picture about some particular person to a group of people. C. . Around 13 million kids and teens from the ages of three through seventeen committed suicide from cell phone cyber bullying.
III. Since the cell phone was first invented everyone knew that they emit electromagnetic waves. A. As we know, radiation is a huge threat to one’s body. B. Radiation can kill cells if too much is absorbed and along with this, it can damage ones memory. (1) Cell phones are held so closely to the brain on such an often regular basis that radiation is absorbed directly into where it can kill cells. C. Once theses memory cells are killed, it may be temporary and come back when the radiation effects where down but, it may also be permanent.
