B. If such test were perfected, should they be used in future?
Yes, these test should be used in the future but only if they are perfected and are both valid and reliable. I think that this will help people recognize their strengths and weaknesses. But I don’t think this should be used to make decisions about people lives.

Based on the number of points totaled at the end of the test I scored a 42. I agree with this analysis because I posses all of these qualities. I find myself to be popular and unintentionally the center of attention but at the same time I am very easy going and not stuck up. Most of the time when someone close to me needs advice or help they usually come to me first. Also whether right or wrong I try to look at situations from both perspectives and not just my own. I’m also usually calm and understanding in stressful situations because complaining or arguing will only make the situation worst. Usually when someone in my family wants to borrow money they come to me first because I almost never say no even if it’s my last. I strongly have a problem with saying no I feel like I am suppose to be there when someone I care about is in need. I never do things for people looking for them to return the favor. Most of the time people don’t treat you like you treat them and act like they forgot about what you did for them. I don’t let situations like that bother me or change who I am as a person. A lot of people might judge me from my hard exterior or the fact that I am quiet at times. But after they get know me most people always want to be around me. I also presented my girlfriend with this analysis and let her test me, she gave me a score of 41 so it has to be somewhat

The personality assessment that I would recommend for use by employers would have to be the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MMPI). I feel that this is the best assessment for employees to take, because the MMPI is a personality test developed to test psychological disorders. offers individuals a wealth of information, from symptoms of disorder to self-esteem to emotions It is often used for career counseling, therapy, and to estimate the success in high-risk public safety positions.by employers to determine suitability for employment when hiring. Regrettable, some engineers seem to not want to take the personality tests after a crash that led to 25 people dead because they do not agree that a test should show whether they should stay on as engineers…

The big five factors are supposed to represent the beginning structure when it comes to all personality traits. The big five factors are mostly related with cooperating with other individuals amongst the workplace and about appreciating the workplace environment. The big five factors are: 1) Emotional stability, 2) Extraversion, 3) Openness, 4) Agreeableness, and 5) Conscientiousness. And of these five factors extraversion and conscientiousness are the two factors that determines and are responsible for positive job performances. But the one issue with the big five factor is that the results are based on jobs that are solely based on social interaction, jobs with not as much interaction with the individuals the big five factor has less impact of determining job performances. This is where cognitive abilities steps in because cognitive ability is brain based skills that each individual need to complete any task from the simplest to the most complex. A person with cognitive abilities perform just as good as or maybe even better than individuals who have favorable personality when it comes to working in a larger company where there is not too much interaction or socializing amongst the employees…

Very rarely so we take stock in our own well-being in the workplace and even less time is spent on determining if our personalities fit within the expected model of behavior that is expected at the organization for which we are part of. According to Wan Ismail and Awadh (2011), personality can be a determining factor in one’s job performance. I somewhat agree, but in reality in my opinion this test does not tell me or anyone as to what type of person that I am or may be. This in my opinion is just another statistical test to formulate percentages of what society wants. I agree because it was close in nature to my thoughts and other actions that I am as person is portrayed to be. This does not tell me what I as a person exactly thinks or may not think according to the subject at hand.…

After completing the Big 5 Inventory, I am shocked by the results. The one that surprised me the most was agreeableness. I scored pretty low on that one which is shocking because it says I find it easy to criticize others, but I don’t find myself to be critical at all. My mom said the same thing, but it does take me a lot to forgive people depending on the situation. I scored pretty high on the extraversion which isn’t a shocker at all. I love to talk, especially to tons of different people. My family easily agreed that this result was very accurate. I scored low for conscientiousness which makes sense at certain times. When it comes to my room, I love it to be cleaned and organized, but I can easily mess it up in seconds. My mom agrees with the fact that I can one of the most organized and messy person at the same time. For open-mindedness I scored a little under 50%, which is and is not surprising. I…
