The abolition of national examination for repair the system of education

National exam is currently a very controversial discussion in education field. The holding of a national exam raises its own pros and cons besides the national exam to be one of the problems and expenses that it is hard not only for society but also for the government. How not, the national exam has become a very heavy burden to deal with the students each year for the national exam is determined as a determinant of their graduation. not only that, the grade of which is considered high graduation standards is also a fear for them. there is also fear in those who eventually become their own mental burden for the national exams and cause distrust in the national exams. coupled with government indecision in dealing with this problem every year. Which ultimately makes the education system is now a chaotic and disorganized. To that end, the government should remove the national exam in order to improve the education system has been a mess since the advent of the national exam.
National exams serve as a determinant of graduation for students. This raises fears for students final grade in the national exams. Graduation each student should not be determined through the national exam. Due to the level of student ability and students intellegenc only schools that known and not from the result of 3 days national exam . Nastiti fitria (2012), stated that “Unfortunately, the result of their years in school does not considered as their accomplishment because the final result that decide whether they pass or not is only based on Un, there is no ore consideration which can helps the student” (Para.2). this decision is very regrettably, national exam as a determinant of graduation will only make a suffer and burden for student in learning. Not only that, the desire of student in learning will decrease and effect of pressure which they accepted. For example, 2 students go to school to learn and gain knowledge. The first students at the school during the student known as a smart student, polite, and always according to the school rules. And students who are both well-known as a naughty student, rarely come to school and always breaking the school rules. school after 3 years they finally arrived where they have to follow the school final exams and final exams nationwide to determine their graduation. The first students who are studying in earnest for the exam but when the exam because he was nervous and did not feel burdened concentration in the exams . And the other one just relaxed and did not study, when the last exam he just rely on answers from friends or cheating. When graduation announcements, found the first students who do not pass and the second student pass. It was a surprise of their own, parents, and teachers. It will shake their lives. finally they feel the injustice and all their efforts during the 3 years of schooling was in vain. For every student that graduation should be determined from the existing teachers in their own school who constantly monitor their progress and not from the government which does not know the capabilities of each student.
Differences in each school facility is also an obstacle and a burden to students and teachers in school. Committee On Japan (2000), noted that “the disadvantages of the examination are becoming increasely apparent” (p.33). This difference can lead generating lost and to inequality of learning for students. For example, there are urban schools have complete facilities, sufficient financial resources and have professional teachers. So that in the learning process, these schools do not have a barrier because of the facilities they have are very supportive. Unlike the schools in rural areas that do not have complete facilities, insufficient funds and the number of teachers that a little. So that the learning process has a barrier and is quite difficult because it is not supported and inadequate facilities. In addition, the difference in students learning in the city and in the countryside there be an obstacle for the students. In national exams for the government, following the existing curriculum at the center. While there are lessons in the different cities and countryside and it creates difficulties for students in rural and difficult to follow the lessons left by facility constraints. Not only that, but also raises the pressure in the minds of students who think that the national exam will be harder and harder to do. Because of these pressures result in students not have the confidences. And by dropping it also makes a lot of students who did not pass because of the difference they can during lessons at school and the national exam.
In addition students are victims of a national exam practice. Students are victims of the implementation of national examinations. Before the national exam, students are required to study harder and prepare for the national exam. Teachers in school give extra lessons outside of school hours. They also focused only with the subjects that will be issued in the national exams. So that pressured them in the classroom and feel uncomfortable. Not to mention that they follow her lessons outside of school. And plus they have to learn on his return home. When they used to learn. Indeed, it is good to learn to lighten their load on the exam later. But excessive learning can also make up their minds and even depressed become can not concentrate. Ram and Rajendra (2004), noted that “in this manner, the student does not attain in any real ability or capacity even though he passes the examination” (p.303). National examination can make students can not develop their ability. So that, they just fetched up to learn and to overruling another things that usually they do. Many cases, students become victims before the national exam and after the exam. For example, there is a student who is studying in earnest for the national exams. Every day the students learn without stopping. Until one day, a few days before the national exam the physical condition declined and he suffered stress from too often learn and depressed. And because their conditions do not allow for national exams that they have to follow the supplementary exams. There are even more severe than that incident. There are even students who have severe stress and fear to face national exam they tried to commit suicide because they think that's the only way. National exams is just materials for government to make students as victims and guinea pigs.
National exam is held to improve the existing education system for the better. The Government held a national exam in order both to improve the quality of education is good. National examinations were also made to determine the level of each student in the areas they meet national standards or not, to improve the quality of education, and could be a reference determinants or students to continue to higher education or college. Also can assist to generate the students independence in doing the test. OECD (2012), stated that “National exam are standardized test that have formal consequence for student , such as whether the student can progress to a high level of education or obtain an officially recognize degree. National exam is good way to improving the quality of education toward better. Not only for the students but also for school especially teachers and government. And can assist in developing or improve; repair the system of education. But, it is true that government perform the national exam for the a good purpose. But its prove, the execution of national exam only becoming the national problem which difficult to be finished of student themselves, school and also government. execution of national exam exactly only becoming pressure to student. Besides that, the efficacy a student is not defined through the lesson of national exam, and seen from existing evidence of national exam is not assist in improvement the system of education. instead, national exam just make it worst and complicate the system of education. Which have there.

As the conclusion, national exam it is true made to increase the quality and to develop the system of education. But its proof, national exam only becoming national problem which till now still not yet can be found the solution or way out to overcome it. For the government should more impetous and think to look for the way out to handle the problem. And do not make the students in school that follow the test become depressed, disturbed and feel ladened with the existence of the national exam and do not generate the problem and also victim. It is better, if the national exam still exist but not as the determinant of student pass. Let the graduate of each student determining by the school especially the teachers. And the national tes only becoming a medium to student to evaluate their ability and how far they have earned their knowledge.

In the story the Hunter’s in the Snow, the three protagonists were bickering throughout the entire morning. One of the main characters, Tub, shot his friend Kenny due to reflex, after Kenny had shot a dog in the head. Kenny had provoked Tub, with what most would consider an idle threat, however Tub had responded by shooting his friend in the stomach. Some might argue that Tub’s reaction was justified due to Kenny’s earlier recklessness; this suggestion is not accurate because if we all responded to threats in this matter no one would be alive.…

All Chinese students have to study so hard for a reason: the college entrance exam, also called “gaokao” in Chinese. There are over ten million students taking this exam every year in China. Only a small group of students can pass this exam to get into the top university and get further education. When we take the college entrance exam, and students in different majors need to take different exams. There are two different tests, one for arts and one for sciences. And students who major in arts need to remember lots of information; students who major in science need to lots of homework. Many students who cannot pass it may continue studying and take gaokao the next year or just go to a university that is not so good. As our parents say, this is an exam that decides our whole life. So, it is easy to know how much pressure we have when we face this exam. I want to argue in this essay that I think China should provide the college entrance exam twice a year and, furthermore, should avoid using the exam alone to determine which students can attend the best colleges. Making these changes can reduce the pressure…

Education is one of the most important factors in national development. Each year, millions of children attend schools with passion and curiosity, and start being educated by teachers, schoolmates, and everything around them. Most of people are going to spend more than twelve years in school, and then they walk into the society to achieve their goals or contribute to their country. Hence, the educational system is the guarantee of both humanistic quality and national advancement. As the matter of fact, our generation will be the backbone of China in the next thirty years, and because of that, students are supposed to be taught in a proper way. Unfortunately, the unified Chinese educational system causes serious negative results on Chinese students including the lack on creation, confidence, passion, and honesty. At the same time, Chinese economy has also been damaged since many Chinese students choose to leave China because of the pressure of the system. All of these negative results imply that the Chinese students, and even the nation will sink into a plight. The “chief culprits” are the examination-oriented education and the National Higher Education Entrance Examination system.…

‘I am all for slaying the PSLE sacred cow,’ wrote a member of parliament in his blog. The Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) issue once again came under the spotlight. Popular opinions have been rising for scrapping the PSLE, for it puts unnecessary stress on young students and limits their holistic development. However, proponents of the system have been equally strong in their support for the exam, arguing that no viable alternative exists to ensure the fairness of selection. According to an online poll, the PSLE has been ranked the top ten most pressing issues faced by Singaporeans. It is high time for us to engage in the debate, as education is becoming more and more important in determining the future of a child and the the nation as a whole. So, should we abolish PSLE?…

The need for such an examination arises because everything does not seem to be going alright with the education system. The ground reality is that in most of the schools and colleges of India, students, teachers and administrators are apathetic towards the process of education, fraudulent ways are beings adopted to complete the process and a large number of educated youth find themselves without jobs. It is quite anomalous that when the people, government and those involved in implementing it, consider the education to be a desirable thing, they choose to ignore the real state of affairs on ground. Policy makers, politicians, social activists and education experts are seen taking idealist positions when talking about education, most of the time. Do they really want to continue and expand the existing education system in its present form? Besides the degeneration of the process, education as an activity seems to be going on without any direction.…
