Argumentative Essay Frist Draft Prompt
Assignment:
You have to write an argumentative essay for or against one of these arguments. You can still come up with your own arguments after you run them by me.
Important Notes:
1- Your position will be determined based on the audience ( You have to persuade those who disagree with your position)
2- You cannot change the audience
3- You cannot change the purpose
4- You should use the sources to support your arguments and counterarguments
5- In addition to the readings, you are allowed to use two external credible sources
6- Your essay should be 3-5 pages long
1- A person’s identity can change and grow over the time; thus, we should not constrict people.
Audience:
People who think that identities do not change and define people solely
Purpose:
To persuade the audience that identities change and should not affect how we perceive people
