Argumentative Essay: Is John Brown A Terrorist?

Is John brown a terrorist or revolutionary. Well lets see, I believe that john brown was a terrorist for 3 reason, my first proof reason is that his initial plan was to take control of the federal armory and after that cease control of all the weapons and use them to arm and free slaves all across the south. My second reason is that John Brown has a long line of insane family members. My third and final proof is that john brown is abolitionist but not antislavery. I believe that John Brown isn't a terrorist because he wanted to free slaves from bondage.
I believe that John brown is a terrorist because he wanted to take a federal armory and use it against citizens and mind you American citizens for a just cause. I believe that even if his plan had actually worked in his favor there would be a mass panick and bounties out everywhere signaling to the people that this man is armed and
dangerous thus possibly invoking the bounty hunters to come out and hunt Brown for his head. This also is a bad idea because I believe that the American people especially the south(with them owning slaves and all that good stuff) would've made search parties and barricades and also faithful slaves may have turned him in just like one did so with Nat Turner and his slave uprising. Not if, when the the southerners found him they would've killed all of the slaves and white abolitionist alongside him. John Brown is a terrorist because Mr.
Brown was completely insane I mean this guys a nut job. He had multiple family members inside insane asylum including three aunts, two uncles, his only sister, her daughter, and six first cousins., Now this is ultimately the case with John brown here as you can see not a shining image of mental health. John Brown also thought he was following Gods will when he raided and killed and pillaged. When it came time to go to court for John Brown he and his defense attorneys had decided that the only way to save him is that he needed to plead medically insane which I belive he is. My third and final reason that I belive John Brown is a terrorist is that John Brown was Abolitionist not a proponet of anti-slavery. Anti-slavery meant no slaves for the north bu keep the slaves for the southerners. Where abolitionist disagreed and wanted to have all slavery abolished. With that I belive that the abolitionist having this radical point of view would give them the chance to do more drastic things. To get there pint across to the
