Human beings around the world know that America is known as the land of the free. Many also come to this land for opportunity. Today more than half of the American population can agree that children of illegal immigrants have the right to obtain a public education in America’s education system. Americans support this idea would like to obtain a stronger society, obtain the American Dream and uphold the Bill of Rights. While nativist, who oppose illegal immigration believe that the illegal immigrant’s children are costing our government system too much money. In order to reach something that is called “The American Dream” the education system along with many others have to be accepting of everyone including children of illegal immigrants brought to American to receive and higher ranked education system. The American Dream is to walk however you want through the ‘land of the free’, this would be including anyone of any race and any age. “To us, it is better to have youngsters in school than to have them roaming crime ridden neighborhoods” (Gallegos). Part of the American Dream is to have a lower crime rate. If the children of illegal immigrants are placed into an education system they will receive the right information between right and wrong. With American having a higher ranked education system, once can expect a lower crime rate and an even higher education system with allowing these children into the school
