So many children are born with autism, and have to deal with living like that. If more research is conducted, there might be a way to help lower that amount of children born with autism. ASD affects one percent of the worlds’ population.4One whole percent of the world is affected by autism. Why? More research could give us the answer. If we know that autism affects one percent of our population, why aren't we funding research to help?
More of our research funding should be going towards autism. Autism is a serious developmental disability, and it is a very prevelant disability.
