Argumentative Essay On Homosexuality

Everybody has their own beliefs on homosexuality. Some believe it is a sin, and some believe love is love; whether that is with the opposite or same sex. Homosexuality is something that in this point is time is accepted way more than it was a couple years back. Of course we still have some people who discriminate homosexuals in many ways. Some are against it due to religion, or the way they were brought up, I feel everyone is entitled to their opinion but they should keep an open mind. Like I said, the world is changing and you don’t have to accept it but you should learn to live with it without discriminating or putting them down.

When some people see two men or two women together, they don’t know how to handle it because it goes against everything their parents or school has taught them growing up. However, what’s funny to me is that you will find that most couples in this situation are no different than your normal average heterosexual couples. There are many arguments coming from both sides about this topic, for example the majority of homosexual couples trying to adopt are male, due to the fact that they cannot have their own children. The plus side to homosexual adoption is that the majority does seem to provide a more stable home than that of a normal couple. With divorces at an all time high, many children today are being raised in single homes. Statistics show that a child who is adopted by a homosexual couple has two full time parents equaling a more stable environment to grow up in. I feel as though homosexual adopting is better for a child than him/her landing in foster care where they are moved from different homes until they are of legal
