Argumentative Essay On Journey Counseling
Mr. Bradley Fortune completed an anger management intake with Journey Counseling. Journey Counseling is a certified agency to provide anger management, domestic violence, and drug and alcohol treatment. Furthermore, I am a Colorado certified addictions counselor, senior level, and hold a Masters in social work. I am also a state approved domestic violence treatment provider.
The intake consisted of a history taken in written form through a verbal interview, a including a mini mental status check list. Mr. Fortune remained cooperative and compliant during the interview.
Mr. Fortune is a 39-year old Caucasian male currently living in Longmont, Co is living with his wife. Mr. Fortune has been married for 2 year, although in the relationship

Salomon reported she was sitting at the park with her boyfriend while her car was parked along the curb. While Ms. Salomon and her boyfriend were sitting in the park they witnessed a verbal altercation between Mr. Fortune and another man regarding a dog being off leash. After some words were exchanged between the two men, the two men went their separate ways. As Mr. Fortune was leaving the park, Ms. Salomon heard Mr. Fortune yell back to the other man asking “is this was his car.” She stated, the man replied “yeah, do whatever you want to it.” At that point Ms. Salomon and her boyfriend witnessed Mr. Fortune take something from his pocket and scratch the right rear quarter panel of Ms. Salomon’s car. When Officer Carter arrived, he took statements from both parties, informing them both he needed to discuss the case with the city prosecutor before taking any further action. After discussing the situation in detail with a city prosecutor Officer Carter contacted Mr. Fortune at his residence, issuing him a citation for criminal mischief on March 1, 2016. Mr. Fortune presented with willingness to comply with all treatment and legal requirements. He reported wanting to gain insight into his anger issues, so he can better control himself and walk away from similar situations in the future.
