Argumentative Essay On Nina Uziogwe
Black students throughout the U.S. have been making headlines with their multiple acceptances at top colleges and universities. The latest high school senior to make the news for being wanted by several elite schools is a Canarsie teen, Nina Uziogwe.

She is a senior at Stuyvesant High School and plans to study medicine. She was accepted to Harvard, Dartmouth, Cornell, University of Pennsylvania, Columbia, Princeton and Yale.

Uziogwe's mother says she always stressed academic performance. But Uziogwe is the first in her large extended family to be accepted to more than one Ivy League university.

She says she took a number of advanced placement classes and joined extracurricular activities, like cheerleading.
