Astronauts have to go through hundreds of hours of training and preparing to go into space. For instance, they have to spend up to 7 hours in water at a time. They have to test their strength and stamina on simulators like the Micro-Gravity Wall, Multi-Axis Trainer and 1/6th Gravity Chair. They have to stay in shape because when you go into space, everything doesn’t need much effort put into doing. Everything changes with the environment around you like your strength and your height. It wouldn’t be a very good idea to put people with minimal training into a space mission, a lot of awful things could happen. Such as the person having a panic attack, not doing procedures correctly, and even causing the shuttle to crash. In my opinion, space travel was useful while it lasted, but I think it’s time to give up space travel. There is no direct profit being made from private space travel. The only thing trips to the moon gave us were some appealing pictures of the planet and souvenirs of moon rock. It’s not used for any direct benefit for life on Earth. Plus, putting all this effort into space travel is mostly a waste, it costs a lot of money to build these, and it’s too dangerous. In conclusion, I personally don’t think private space travel should be encouraged. What do you
