People always say that living in a large city is a great quality, they like it because it let them get a lot of benefits; in my opinion, every place has its drawbacks; there is no perfect place that we can say: “It is formidable”. In the other hand, they are people who hate living in a large city, and they prefer the small one. As far as I live in Raleigh, I do not like it due to three reasons: change of weather, few means of transportation, and quiet life.…

Not in the aspect people living there, but the place that gets the most attention from tourists and people in general. I can not necessarily remember the place we went , but it was beautiful. It looked just like Venice on the inside or at least what I thought it would have been like. I had never seen something with so much attention to detail of this magnitude. The place was virtually a shopping mall as well, but it didn't seem like a mall. It was like you were in a small town with different stores around. I was just amazed at something for probably the first time in my life. It was such a huge place purely for the cause of entertainment and business. It didn't have to be anywhere near as monumental and detailed to bring people. Just being in las Vegas on the strip and having the stores it had would draw people in. It was just how much it meant to them, and their pride in Las Vegas. They spared no expenses in their…

Hi, Daria! I had a pretty similar situation. When I told people that I am going to university in Las Vegas, they gave me some bad looks. Since a lot of people talked about Las Vegas badly, I was worried. However, this is not true. Like you said, I do not drinking and clubbing all the time. I do my homework and live normal life. People think Las Vegas is a sin city because people do not have a good impression on Las Vegas' commercials. The commercials could give give advantages and disadvantages to people. In my opinion, "What happens in Las Vegas, stays in Vegas" is not that bad. Really it is depends on people and their thoughts. Some people think it is funny and they might visit to spend a great time like other cities. However, some people…

The city of Chicago is an amazing place for many tourists to come to any time of the year. “Nearly forty million people visit Chicago annually. Along with forty million tourists, Chicago has nearly three million residents who inhabit the streets and sidewalks every morning” (cityofchicago.org, p. 1). Street performers, salespeople, and pedestrians add many distractions to the already unknown area. Also, the streets and mirroring shops on every block cause much confusion to a first time tourist of the city. “Chicago has more than 7,300 restaurants, 552 parks, and 26 miles of lakefront” (cityofchicago.org, p.1). The city of Chicago is an amazing place to visit until one gets lost in the much larger city than Greensburg.…
