Ms. Bigby was questioned if she had any prior claims she may have filed for any other losses. Ms. Bigby went on to say that she did not recall as she had discussed this information with her adjuster in this case. As the investigator attempted to refresh her memory by asking if the claim was through Travelers Insurance, Ms. Bigby stated that she does not believe that she had to disclose this information to this investigator and thought that this interview was about her current claim. She then proceeded to say that that the complaint occurred approximately six months ago when she was using a rental car when it was broken into. She argued that many items were stolen from within the car and could not provide any details of the articles taken and the amount of the loss that included where and when the theft occurred. She said she did not have that information, and the Pasadena Police Department took a police report.…

Living so near to the city of Chicago makes it very easy for me to know about the population issues. First hand, I know that the issue with overpopulations in small northern suburbs is slightly ridiculous because of how the class sizes has grown in size making some classes harder to be in. Another issue is on the south of Chicago, though it’s better now. It is considered a mostly African American and ‘rough’ area of the city. Because of the overpopulation there are many homeless people, and a lot of crime in that area. The government has started to put up low-income only apartments for these areas to help the poverty, and have also put in cameras to help keep bi-passers safe.…
To make sure that Detroit does not fall prey to the same evils which caused its dilapidation decades ago, they need to learn from their various mistakes. The biggest of these was to rely far too much on the car industry, which turned into its Achilles heel when Ford Motors, among other corporations, left the city. Diversification is the key here to financial prosperity, as Detroit needs to ensure that when one industry perhaps fails in the city, there are many others to continue to back up the city financially. This was exactly the problem with the city before; they did not have a backup plan for when demand for automobiles lessened.…
The documentary that the class was assigned was “Suburban America: Problems and Promises.” This documentary’s intended audience was towards people either planning to move into suburban areas and the problems that they will face once they move into the neighborhood. This documentary also had an audience with people that already live in suburban areas with problems that they have already encountered tried to change.…
Choosing between two things can be a difficult decision. Especially if it something you are seeing/ doing for the first time. For example, My brothers and I are going to see a band none of us have seen before, and we cannot choose between two locations for the concert. The two choices are to stay in Michigan or go to Indiana.…
I chose to use the 2012 Presidential General Election, because I remember this election the most detailed. The candidates running for the democratic side were Barack Obama for president and Joe Biden for vice president. Running for the republican side were Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. The presidential candidates for the libertarian party were Gary Johnson and his vice presidential candidate James Gary. The overall winner(s) of the 2012 Presidential election was/were President Barak Obama and Vice President Joe Biden.…
As a soon to be Chicago Public Schools alum, in my lifetime I have experienced school budget cuts, teacher displacements, and two teacher strikes. I have always believed that education is the key to success and extended opportunities, but for the past two years, the optimism that I have always had has slowly started to deteriorate. Everyday when I view the news, it seems that my education is being attacked. Whether it is on a federal, state, or city level. Recently, I just learned that the Trump administration is planning to make significant budget cuts to the Pell Grant program; the state of Illinois seems to also be doomed. Because the state has no budget, funding for the MAP Grant program is tentative. As far as the city, it seems that Chicago has the power to invest in every project except public education.…
Using local newspapers such as “The Chicago Tribune,” research a communal problem that exists in the city of Chicago. Argue for how the mayor or Chicago citizens can begin the process of confronting or alleviating the problem in a 700 word essay. In the essay, explain the nature of the problem and then discuss how a specific plan can serve as a possible solution to the problem. The audience for the essay can be either the mayor of Chicago or a group of local Chicago citizens. Use the MLA style system for in-text citations and sources used.…
The city life is a fast pace way of living than in the country. Unlike the country the cities traffic is like having rush hour all day long. People are rushing to do just about everything, from shopping, eating, exercising, and most importantly to go to work. People go downtown to enjoy the different sites, like the Sears Tower, and the great big buildings the city folk love so much. The food is always magnificent; you can get any kind of food from any nationality. There are many different ethnic groups that dwell in the city of Chicago. There are Mexicans, who live mostly on the Westside of Chicago, and African Americans who live mainly on thee Southside of Chicago. The Eastside is also filled with Blacks. As for the North you will see a majority Whites, these are known as the suburbs. Downtown you have a mixture of them all. You will see Asians, Indians, Italians, French, and West Indies.…
When I first visit Chicago two years ago, I thought Chicago is just a city with cold winter and nothing fancy. So I always stay in my little comfort zoon like Chinatown and only hangout with my Chinese friends. However, after a month of exploring Chicago, I was totally wrong. Chicago is a place with rich history, culture diversity and innovation in business. It is so fabulous and modern, yet so calm and beautiful. When you pay close attention to your surrounding, you will discover the culture mix is everywhere. The different neighborhood has its own traditions, in term of art, music, food and religion. Yet, they were all somehow so united and shared same sprit of being citizen of Chicago. Chicago is nothing like Detroit. It will not fall like Detroit, because Chicago’s innovation and variety of the business were so advanced, it could make change to adopt current economic situations.…
The Missouri River was poisoned already from the pesticides and we were able to clean it,” he said. those are just topical compared to the oil. However, if the oil gets in the water, it will start destroying the ecosystem underneath; it’ll be dead water.” However, we protecting the water, we’re not protesters,” However, to him,and others in the camp, that the action led by Native people, that it built around their belief in nonviolence and in the spirit of prayer, is vital. to them, more than a protest.…
The prices of college tuition have increased yearly, and not much of an effort is put forth to try to lower the costs. For example, colleges in the state of Pennsylvania have a high tuition. Moravian College’s tuition is about $32,931, and after receipt of grants and scholarships for one year it will be $22,900. East Stroudsburg University’s tuition is about $6,240, and after receipt of grants and scholarships for one year it will be $12,500. I can barely afford Community College, and I know for a fact I wouldn’t be able to afford any of these colleges or universities either. In this essay, I will explain through facts and opinions, why the cost of college tuition should be lowered.…
In America there are so many people who live without healthcare. President Obama has tried hard to change that known fact by introducing and passing his new Obama Care Act. It is very important for people to have proper healthcare coverage, medical care, affordable medications, and for all healthcare services to be available to everyone, whether they are poor, middle class or rich. For most Americans, high quality care generally is readily accessible without long waits but at high cost. However, the uninsured and, increasingly, the underinsured, the poor, and members of underserved minorities often have poor access to health care and poor health outcomes. The health workforce is well trained, yet the United States faces a severe shortage of primary care physicians. Approximately 45% of the U.S. population has a chronic medical condition, and about 60 million people, half of these, have multiple chronic conditions; the CDC estimated these numbers during a recent survey.…
