Argumentative Essay: Why Did The Reconstruction Go South?

Why did the Reconstruction go South? The Reconstruction demolition of the South did not goes as planned; instead of striving forward everything went south. The North proceeded with their plan of making the slaves into freedman by complete destruction of the South. Well everything went according to the plan but they did not plan of what they would do with the freedmen. They did not think of what to do with the land that they had destroyed; this problem alone caused chaos to the North. Plus other groups had started to act in the North, Such as the KKK had spread fear both white and black in both sides.
May 1870 is where the threat of the Ku-Klux-Klan had started, where everyone could see what they would have done to one of the State Senator. He was stabbed multiple times then hanged on a hook for everyone to show that they will hurt anyone that would get in their way even if its their own color. This spread fear in the North and even more to the newly freedman that are running for state senators. This act of Terrorism had caught the eyes of the higher ups.
It was made up for first class white men, such as a lawyer, doctors, and farmers. This was what made them fearful they are on the top of the pyramid, so if you were a freedman and you go to a hospital and the next thing you know the doctor would be trying to kill you. So far nothing had really change in the South since the the start of Construction. The South cannot just accept the fact that the blacks are joining them in the society and they are even going to be heard in the government which made them even more furious. However, the North is doing everything it can to give the freedman natural rights but the South just keeps on
