Arguments Against The Second Amendment

The second Amendment protects the rights of people to keep and bear arms. In other words, people are allowed to have weapons but they are required to have a permit and license. They run a background check on the person that wants to buy a weapon before they can get a license. If they suspect anything wrong going on, the person will not get one. The 2nd amendment is a very controversial topic, a lot of people support gun laws and vice versa. But why be against it if they can put strict laws against it that prohibits the guns getting in the wrong hands? One of the most controversial topics about gun laws is violence and crimes. Many people are worried that if it gets in the wrong hands of a criminal, they might use the gun against an innocent citizen. Which is a very true fact but there are other sides of the story. Although there are some risks, i think that if some people actually tried to keep them hidden and safe, there will be a lot less incidents.
