In that moment Arianna will get upset and avoid the issue. Emphasis should be placed on how to develop Arianna’s problem solving abilities, especially as it relates to her Math academic abilities. She lacks the ability to stay motivated when she is tasked with problems that she does not understand. For example, during testing the difficulty level, of the question, would increase, and as it increased she would begin to avoid answering some of the questions. Another example of Arianna evading problem solving happens when she gets in trouble at home. She walks away talking underneath her breath.
