What drives a person is different, there for goals will always be different. The differences will cause a person to be motivated in different ways. A goal I have set for myself in the last two years was to graduate with my college degree. I will graduate from Queens College, with a bachelors in Sociology for June 2016. I’m completing my dream, after a very tremendous last two years of higher education. I decided to go back to college September of 2012. It was extremely difficult because being out of school for over eight years. There were many battles and disappointments because to relearn subjects, like essay writing and math. However, I never gave up and completed my Associated Degree May of 2014. Last year, my junior year at Queens College was extremely difficult. My father who encouraged education by reading, influence my appreciation of other cultures and humanity. My father an immigrate who came to America from Barbados, with limited money and was able to purchase three homes, a college degree and a trunk business. It made me want to join the Peace Corps and it’s easier to get into with a bachelor degrees, therefore, I went back to school to make a differences. He was suddenly diagnose with congestive heart failure March of 2015. He refused a heart transplant and had a dopamine pump to increase his blood circulation. His health deteriorate rapidly and passed away October 2015. It was extremely difficult for me because I suffer from depression. I did not give up on his teaching of a
