According to Gettleman (Armed and Underaged), it states, “ In some countries, hunger and poverty drive parents sell their children into service. What's more, children are often considered the perfect weapon: They are easily manipulated, intensely loyal, fearless, and, most important, in endless supply.” This piece of evidence supports how when people are under a lot of pressure they don't think of their decisions consequences because it shows how people will make a decision without really thinking it through because it shows how countries with other problem like hunger and poverty were the countries most likely to send children off to war instead of adults. They use children because of how gullible they are instead of thinking of enlisting soldiers who are older with more experience. He just believed it was the best decision and sent them out there to get raped or hurt without caring of the people are his consequences. In other words, this quote shows how this leader relied on fear and hurting on other people to rule and it affected a lot of people instead of helping to solve issues. According to Polgreen it states, “"Some people have said that for me to intervene at this point is shocking," he says. "I say what is going on now is shocking. Genocide is going on now, and it is endangering the lives of many more people.’” This piece of evidence supports my claim because it shows how at the time this
