Arthur Miller was born in New York in 1915. His parents Isidore and Augusta Miller were Polish immigrants. Before the Great Depression, his family had a wealthy life. This made him move to Brooklyn, where he completed high school. In 1933, he attended University of Michigan and also worked on the radio during this time. Arthur Miller had in total three wives and one of them was even the sex symbol Marilyn Monroe. That was a very short lived marriage between those two and they both quickly remarried. Its safe to say that Arthur must of been a ladies man. Marilyn Monroe died a few years after the divorce, this was a tough period for Arthur. During that marriage he only wrote one play, and it was for Marilyn Monroe. Arthur got a new wife and had two children, one of having down syndrome. Daniel Day lewis reconnected with Arthur Miller’s long lost son. Daniel Day Lewis would go on to star in Arthur Miller’s The Crucible.
